As a very sick new patient I was pleased with the practice & Dr Blake
First time to see her. She was very nice understood what I said, and I understood what she said. I like her very much.
She is knowledgeable and patient, she took the time and offered support for me that I have not had before from a provider. I am grateful after changing my PCP after 15 years, I feel like I have made a good choice.

I’m sure Drs must get tired of complaining patients who don’t feel good, but Dr Blake made me feel so comfortable. Very upbeat and understanding. Listened well and addressed all questions. Highly recommend!

I arrived earlier than I was expected because I was sick and in pain. Another couple walk in after me and was called to the back within 5 minutes of their arrival. I was still waiting. I was finally called back close to my 10am appointment only to hear Dr. Blake discussing Target and Walmart with the couple that were called back way before I was. My vitals were taken. There I waited on her to complete her conversation. She finally came in, examined me, assumed my condition with no blood work. Set up a CT for my abdomen, prescribed medication which she didn't give me the correct nausea med we discussed and said I could wait in the room until I felt like driving. Also said if I didn't feel better, to go to the ER. If I felt like talking yesterday, I would have told her, my point of the appointment was to prevent an ER visit. I know she saw the anguish I was in. But couldn't spend the time I felt to really find out why I was feeling this way. Very dismissive. I made an appointment with Dr. Avoke in the morning. She will listen and help me feel better.
I look forward to Dr. Blake providing my future medical guidance and any necessary treatment (s).

Is it weird to say I am looking forward to coming back?? I was concerned that it would be hard for me to find a primary care doctor who I'd get along with so well, and I am so so relived and excited to have met Dr. Blake. I'll be a proud patient as long as I can be!
