Older Adults

At St. Mary’s, we know it’s not just about living longer – it’s about living better.

  • Direct Admission: Our pre-registered older adult patients experience a quicker check-in process.
  • Mission Services: Qualified chaplains provide spiritual care and patient representatives are advocates for older adult patients. 100 Percent line is available 24 hours a day to voice compliments and concerns about care.
  • Hospitalist Program: If your physician uses this service, your care will be supervised by a board-certified hospitalist while you are an inpatient at St. Mary’s. Our hospitalists are specially trained in the health care needs of hospital patients. A hospitalist is on site 24 hours a day. Our hospitalist team works closely with your physician to ensure high quality care and a smooth transition after your discharge.
  • Support Groups: Joint Support Group for those living with arthritis; Stroke Support Group for those who have survived stroke. Caregivers, adult family members welcome. (706) 389-2900.
