William Andrew Lawrence, MD

Dr. Lawrence received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with distinction from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Services Center.

He is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He was a member of Mountain Surgical Associates in Vail, CO., from 2002-2013, and served as Trauma Directors and ICU co-director at Vail Valley Medical Center. Dr. Lawrence joined AGCS in 2013. His areas of interest include advanced laparoscopic procedures and gastrointestinal, oncologic and endocrine surgery.
