Stonish Pierce, FACHE, is a nationally recognized board-certified healthcare executive with diverse clinical and leadership experiences in acute and ambulatory operations spanning not-for-profit, public, private, government, academic/teaching, and faith-based hospitals,  integrated delivery systems & for-profit physical therapy sectors.

A sought-after advisor, consultant, proven healthcare executive,  operator, and public speaker, his broad leadership experiences span five states and six distinct healthcare markets.

He currently serves as President & CEO of Trinity Health Georgia (THGA), which includes St. Mary’s Health Care System, a regional teaching system of $23.9B Trinity Health. Before he arrived at THGA, he served in progressive leadership capacities with Ft. Lauderdale-based Holy Cross Health (Trinity Health) as Chief Operating Officer; Michigan-based Beaumont Health as System Vice President, Operations; Chicago-based Presence Health (Ascension) as regional Chief Operating & Chief Business Development Officer; San Diego-based Palomar Health (Mayo Care Network) as Manager, Clinical Services; and the VA Medical Center, Los Angeles, as Administrative Resident.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and his Master of Health Administration degree with a graduate certificate in management, all from the University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Pierce is board certified in healthcare management as a five-time recertified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a recipient of ACHE’s regional Early Career Healthcare Executive and Exemplary Service Awards, the USC Price School’s 90 Pioneers of 90 Years award and he was previously named one of the Top 25 Emerging Leaders by Modern Healthcare.

He currently serves on the Boards for the Georgia Hospital Association, the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, USC Price Health Policy and Management, and the Central Michigan University MHA Program.
