President, St. Mary’s Medical Group

Brittainy serves as the senior executive leader for St. Mary’s Medical Group and its outpatient physician practices, including more than 20 locations, over 85 providers, and Community Internal Medicine of Athens, a physician resident teaching clinic provided for the greater Athens area by the Augusta University/University of Georgia Internal Medicine Residency Program and St. Mary’s.

She joined St. Mary’s in 2015 as the Director of Business Development and Accountable Care and has advanced through progressive leadership positions since, including serving as the Vice President of Strategy and Ambulatory Services, before entering into her current role as President of St. Mary’s Medical Group. In addition, Brittainy is a member of the Senior Leadership Team for Trinity Health Georgia.

She has expansive professional experience that started with her career as a Realtor® in the Athens area from 2005-2011 before transitioning into the healthcare industry, where she served in multiple senior leadership roles within for-profit healthcare systems before joining St. Mary’s. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics from UGA and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of ACHE, a graduate of LEAD Athens, and serves on the Board of Directors for Athens-Clarke County Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, Inc. (SANE).
